Irritating Electrons for Fun & Profit

Another semester has started, along with the usual insanity. I'm attempted to divert my WordPress blog for nefarious purposes--a required blog for my Emerging Trends in Technology class (EDU749) in my MA-Educational Technology program at Touro University--but hit FAIL, so it's currently living on Blogger. For those who are looking for my regular blog--Time Travel & Other Hobbies--it's still in the usual spot, with the usual fiber- and historical reenacting-related rants. This blog is specifically for the geeky tech-related stuff I'm playing with this semester.

First up is this week's homework. It's a long list:

•Establish a web host if you are creating a website for this class (done)
•Work on Portfolio on Wiki or personal site. Upload course files (nearly done)
•Upload one PowerPoint to Slideshare (what the heck is Slideshare???)
•Visit Shelfari and stock your shelf with all your books (can this link to Readerware?)
•Join one/two photo sharing sites and upload some family photos (got Flickr)
•Add Delicious links 749 web20 to above sites
Work on your project (When? I'm doing all the rest of this stuff?!?)
I may also see if I can link Plurk to this blog so I can microblog. Stay tuned...
